As a Chief Nurse you will be expected to provide comprehensive healthcare management to facilitate delivery of appropriate quality healthcare, promote cost effective outcomes and improve program/operational efficiency involving clinical issues. This is a challenging opportunity for a highly skilled Registered Nurse to influence healthcare outcomes.
Background/Experience desired
The successful candidate would be responsible for oversight/management medical services staff including the organisation and development of high performing teams.
- Responsible for the implementation of the companies medical management services policies and procedures.
- Communicates strategic plan and specific tactics to meet plan.
- Ensures consistency with overall program strategic direction and design.
Education and Certification Requirements
Registered Nurse currently registered with the NMC (Nursing, Midwifery Council)
Minimum of five years recent supervisory experience required.
Mental health experience preferred.
Additional Information
The Care Management Nurse Manager needs organizational skills, effective time management, ability to manage multiple priorities, and strong leadership skills.
The candidate must possess strong computer and keyboarding skills.
Knowledge of Acute Trust discharge planning, care management and disease management preferred.
The work hours for this position will be flexible to help meet the needs of the patients, GPs, Consultant Doctors and Hospital Discharge Planners. The ideal candidate must be willing to be flexible to allow for scheduling changes, if required, due to business needs.
